Christian Missions North America:
The Church of the Servant King supports a
number of missions here at home including
the Glenhaven Youth Ranch which provides
long-term, Christian residential placement
for young men at risk. Our church also supports
Mike Gendron's Proclaiming the Gospel which
creates outreach to religions that focus
more on religious traditions than on studying
the Word of God. We also support the EvanTell
organization which supplies tracts and materials
to people who want to be better witnesses
to unbelievers.

ARKANSAS
Glenhaven Youth Ranch, Central Arkansas.
Providing long-term, Christian residential
placement for young men at risk. The
young men who come to live at Glenhaven have
behavior problems, which include rebellion
and disobedience. Most are behind academically,
or have some form of learning disability.
Many of the young men have a history of neglect,
abandonment or abuse. Their fathers are often
absent from their lives due to death or divorce.
Consequently, these young men experience
difficulty in developing healthy relationships
and struggle to trust other people or God.
Staff members work to develop relationships
with each young man in order
that he would
understand that he is unique
and loved by
God. This task requires unconditional
love,
prayer, understanding, and toughness
when
necessary. Day by day, the staff
strives
to present Jesus Christ as the
solution the
young man’s hurts and struggles.
TEXAS
In 1981, at an evangelistic seminar, Mike
heard for the first time that salvation is
not by works or sacraments but by grace through
faith in Jesus Christ! After graduating
from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1991,
Mike began this ministry to reach the many
Catholics who are where he was for most of
his life - believing he was heaven-bound
but, in reality, destined for a Christ-less
eternity.
The ministry was established in 1991 to serve
and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ
by proclaiming
His death and resurrection as
God's only
provision whereby sinners can
be forgiven,
redeemed and justified.
EvanTell is an evangelistic association committed
to clear presentation of the gospel through
a careful study of the Scriptures. The ministry
was founded in 1973 by R. Larry Moyer. Larry
earned a B.A. degree from Philadelphia Biblical
University and a Th.M. from Dallas Theological
Seminary He was also awarded an honorary
Doctorate of Sacred Theology (S.T.D.) from
Philadelphia Biblical University.
EvanTell’s vision is to reach millions throughout
the world with a clear biblical
presentation
of the gospel of grace. To accomplish
its
goal of reaching non-Christians
and training
others to do the same, EvanTell
has three
main activities. They are: conferences
to
reach non-Christians, seminars
to train believers
and materials to equip them to
evangelize.
The primary source of EvanTell’s funding
is through charitable contributions.
EvanTell
uses all proceeds from materials
to further
the development and promotion
of evangelistic
outreach.
Larry resides in Dallas with his wife, Tamarra.
They have one adult son, David.
